~ Reflections on learning to be an Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader ~
Hi, I’m Ru.
An Early Childhood Teacher, Educational Leader and a mother of 2 Primary and 1 High Schooler. It’s not easy, but it definitely is a learning journey that I want to share with new educators stepping into the field.
I have a Master of Teaching in Early Childhood, and on this blog I will talk about how that defines me, my philosophy, how to apply in practice what is learned at Uni, how to always be open to change, critical reflection (what on earth?), the importance of professional development, EYFS, NQS, NESA proficiency and all that juicy stuff.
Stay tuned.
Note: Everything shared on this blog are my own thoughts, opinions, experiences. I am by no means being sponsored by anyone, or speaking on behalf on any regulatory authority. Please remember to always consult with your Director before talking to families about something that might concern you. As an educator it is always important to use professional judgement when making decisions. The support links I have provided are ones I know of, not necessarily ones I have worked with.
